Veritas® Concave Spokeshave with PM-V11 Blade
The Veritas Spokeshaves will quickly become one of your favourite tools in the workshop. It has been designed for smooth, effective, chatterfree shaping of spindles, paddles and tool handles, or other shaping.The 3.18mm (1/8") thick PM-V11 blade, machined lever cap, and blade bed all work together for a chatterfree cutting in virtually all conditions. The ductile cast iron body is fitted with hardwood handles, shaped for comfort and control. The twin adjustment wheels quickly and accurately control cut depth of cut and skew, and shims let you adjust the mouth opening as needed. A ability to finely set the blade depth is important to limit the chatter and tearout on cranky grained timber.At 266mm long, and 340grams it is easy to control whether doing deeper or finer cuts.The spokeshave with the concave sole has been designed for those rounded spindles such as wagon wheel spokes, chair legs etc. with a diameter less than 33mm (1-5/16").Made in Canada.
